SUMMARY:Mountain Soil: helping it grow
DESCRIPTION:Learn the art of growing soil organically\n\nYou will learn:\n\n\nCommon mistakes/What to avoid\nHow to save time & money\nMinimalist approach—and must-haves\nOrganic vs Natural\nExplore soil science at its best with Don Jackson and find out why his boosted mulch really can work magic\n\n\n\nAbout the Speakers:   Leti Porter is an Organic Grower and jokes that she really is in the business of growing people\, mostly kids. She has been growing her entire life thanks to her dad\, who took the time to teach her when she was young that there was so much more to gardening than just pulling weeds. She believes that the earth has the ability to heal us and that it is our responsibility to protect it by growing things\, especially the soil beneath our feet. Don Jackson sees the big picture and is not only a gifted landscape designer but also a horticulturist who lives in the White Mountains. He is passionate about growing healthy soil and loves the science behind it\, and his wife who allows him to live his life playing in the dirt. He invites others to do the same. \nLimited to 40 attendees. \nExchange: Free for Garden Members + Friends of the Garden. \nNon-members: Suggested donation of $5.\n\nSign-up Today!

SUMMARY:Community Seed Exchange & Volunteer Fair
DESCRIPTION:Our first Seed Exchange was a huge success\, so on April 20th\, from 2-4 p.m. we’ll do it again\, and add a “Volunteer Fair” component. Please stop by the Volunteer Table at the Seed Exchange to talk to someone about where you would best fit in.\n\nIn the meantime\, can you help with the SEED EXCHANGE? Please click on the following link and sign up to help make this event successful and make some new gardening friends (volunteers get to check out the seeds first!). Thank you!!\n\nVolunteer for Seed Exchange!\n\nCan’t Wait to Dig In With You\,\n\n\n\n\ndig@GrowTogetherGarden.org
