An overview of the process our Farm uses to cultivate gourmet mushrooms.
We will learn:
- The gourmet mushrooms we’ve grown and why we grow them!
- The equipment required for successful consistent cultivation.
- The varieties we grow and the ingredients to them.
- How long it takes to grow the varieties we chose.
- Harvest, waste management, and recipes to enjoy.
About the Speaker, Nichole Peters: Beyond organizing the wonderful Pinedale Farmer’s Market, Nichole and her husband have founded a successful local mushroom farm. We’ve found mushrooms somewhat difficult to grow, but it’s possible with the right equipment. It’s been a success, and our customers love them very much. They come from far and wide to get them! We can grow high-quality, tasty protein in a relatively small space quickly. It’s amazing 😉 We hope you enjoy them too!
