Preserving Your Harvest

Hello Gardeners + Friends of the Garden,
Have a bountiful harvest but don’t know what to do with it? Bonnie Leedy will provide a high-level view of the many possibilities, including canning, dehydrating, freeze-drying, and fermenting. Come to the next GrowTogether HOCRN Community Garden Class to learn about your options and get an introduction to each. Join us for our upcoming class: Preserving Your Harvest!

Limited to 50 attendees. 
 
You will learn:
  • the whys and hows of preserving the most common fruits and vegetables
  • introduction to preserving methods for freezing, canning, dehydrating, fermenting, and cold storage with the pros and cons of each

About the Speaker:   Bonnie Leedy is the CEO of School Webmasters, but in her “spare” time, she loves gardening, preserving her harvest, baking bread, and livin’ life in the rural countryside. Come meet her at class!

Exchange: Free for Garden Members + Friends of the Garden. 
Non-members: Suggested donation of $5.
